An update from us - Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon

An update from us

It’s hard to believe in less than four months we’ll be lacing up our shoes, ready to tackle the unique, scenic and challenging 2016 Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon! Hopefully you’ve managed to shake off the post-holiday slump and are fitting in a couple of walks or runs each week.  If you’re still struggling to get motivated try enlisting a friend to run or walk with – it’ll keep you honest.

Another ploy to stay on track is to celebrate milestones throughout your training journey.  Whether you’ve just knocked off your first 10km walk, or managed to run without stopping for 45 minutes, or achieving five minute kilometres – take a moment to reflect and bask in that tremendous feeling of achievement.

We only bust through these milestones once and they’re worth celebrating!  Treat yourself to a massage or a pedicure, take some time out with your friends to brag about your achievement, or simply light some candles, enjoy a long hot shower or soak in the bath tub with your favourite music blasting.

Come May, when we collectively run and walk 21.1km, we’ll be celebrating this fantastic achievement at the finish line with oodles of live music and entertainment, fabulous Marlborough food and a bottle of our favourite wine from Saint Clair Family Estate of course!

The festivities continue in style that evening, with our post-race celebration Revelry – a street-party styled event with a range of delicious dishes featuring the best of Marlborough’s unique produce including Cloudy Bay Clams and New Zealand King Salmon and The Honey Company.

With fabulous music from Shadow Puppet, award winning craft beer from Renaissance and Saint Clair wines, Revelry is the perfect way to top off a memorable day and celebrate your achievement with family and friends.

Tickets are limited, so be quick to avoid disappointment – you can purchase them online here, or click here to find out more about Revelry.
