Feast Marlborough is a three day food extravaganza celebrating Marlborough food and wine. It kicks off with a street food market on Friday May 12th, continues on Saturday with some spectacular dining options, and finishes on Sunday morning with brunch at venues throughout the region.
Timed to coincide with the Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon, Feast Marlborough will be your food guide to the region, showing you the best of what we have to offer in this vibrant wine and food region.
Friday Night Feast – Market Place, Blenheim, 12 May 3pm – 7pm
Renowned Kiwi chef Martin Bosley is joining us to host the Friday Night Feast in the centre of town, creating spectacular seafood dishes at our Premium Top of the South Seafood Bar.
Chefs from some of Marlborough’s best restaurants, wineries and cafes will join the Friday night street food extravaganza. Restaurants and shops around town will open late to add to the buzz.
Saturday Evening Celebration Dining
Following a cracker start to your weekend away, the feast will continue on Saturday, with some of the best spots in town opening their doors to bring your more world-class dishes from their very own kitchens.
Cloudy Bay Winery, The Marlborough Lodge and Arbour will bring you fine dining, while renowned lunch spot Allan Scott Wines will be serving a one-off dinner in their stunning courtyard. Highfield Terravin Vineyard will be creating a series of Mediterranean dishes accompanied by live entertainment, and Vines Village Cafe is offering a three course dinner, wine and live music at their restaurant among the vines.
We’ll also take care of your transport, with buses leaving for your chosen destination from Seymour Square in the town centre before dinner kicks off.
For those looking to dine closer to town, Speights Ale House, Railway Cafe, Quench and Mondrians Restaurant are coming to the party, or there’s Cartel, offering delicious Mexican cuisine, wine, beer, and all the tequila you could wish for. Just around the corner, Yard Bar is the perfect spot for a bite to eat and a night of dancing, set in Blenheim’s secret garden in the heart of town.
Star Studded Saturday Dinner
Martin Bosley is staying on for the Saturday night feast; preparing an indulgent, relaxed marquee dinner at Cloudy Bay, featuring their spectacular wines, and including some rare museum wines as well.
When you arrive at the winery, you’ll start with Pelorus and Oysters at Jack’s Raw Bar, before moving into the marquee for the feast. No white linen or round tables here; think long tables and people enjoying the ultimate taste of Marlborough.

Mothers Day Brunch anyone?
And if all that isn’t enough, when you wake up on Sunday, possibly a bit weary, we’ve got your brunch sorted for the perfect end to your weekend in Marlborough, which also happens to be Mother’s Day.
Wine Marlborough have gone all out for this one, bringing all of the region’s best wineries back to Cloudy Bay for a one-off brunch on one of the most picturesque lawns in Marlborough.
Relax in the vines for a taste of even more Marlborough produce, indulgent breakfast style, matched with wines from the very vineyards you ran through the day before.
Go on, make the most of your weekend in wine country and indulge those tastebuds – we can’t wait!
