Marlborough puts on Feast for Vineyard Half - Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon

Marlborough puts on Feast for Vineyard Half

If there’s one thing we love more than running, it’s food, lots and lots of awesome food, and of course, delicious wines to wash it down with.

At the Vineyard Half, we go on and on (and on) about how beautiful our region is, and it is; but amongst all that beauty is also an abundance of wonderful produce.

Marlborough is one of the great food growing valleys of the world, and to celebrate that produce, we’ve put together a three-day food spectacular, Feast Marlborough.

From the minute you set foot in the region on May 12th, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in all things food, kicking off with a street food extravaganza in the heart of town.

Three renowned guest chefs, including Martin Bosley, will join us in Market Pl, where they will be producing world-class street food using as much local produce as they can get their hands on.

A seafood hub will be joined by a range of other stalls headed by amazing chefs, a band will provide entertainment, and retailers, cafes and restaurants will be open late, adding to the buzz of the night.

When Saturday rolls around and you’ve just completed the race (go you!) you won’t even need to think about dinner plans, because we’ve got that sorted too.

Restaurants from across Marlborough are coming on board for our celebration of food, and we’ll be transporting you from the town centre to some of the best dining spots in the region.

There will be options for everyone, whether you want a fine dining experience and a chance to speak to chefs and winemakers, or just to let your hair down, dance, and celebrate the day’s achievement.

On Sunday we’ll be your very own guide to brunch in Marlborough – telling you exactly where you want to be for your perfect bite.

As Sunday will also be Mother’s Day, this is the perfect opportunity for visitors and locals alike to celebrate their Vineyard Half achievement, and their mothers, over breaky, and of course, wine!

So … if you want to eat some amazing food, and drink some amazing wine, keep an eye out next Monday, when we’ll be going live with the Feast website for you to get booking!
