…Prizes and everything…

BBC_logo_smallYou may have noticed that we’re raising funds for Beat Bowel Cancer Aotearoa this year.  Already we have raised $5000 through our charity entrants…watch for their personally named ThermaTech singlets around the course in May and maybe give them a little cheer…Those same people have also committed to raising a further $150 by seeking sponsorship from their  friends, relations, workmates and people they meet in elevators…at the moment the fundraising site is at $6408 which puts this event well on target towards the $20000 we are aiming for.

If you’re not a BBCA runner and you feel like supporting this cause you can jump on board; set up your own fundraising site or sponsor one of the charity entrants.  And as in all good sporting endeavours there’s prizes.  Both Thomas’s Department Store and Beat Bowel Cancer Aotearoa have provided prizes for the best performing fundraiser:

Merino_Robe_Front_Closeup_low_res_mediumBeat Bowel Cancer Aotearoa is delighted to offer a beautiful For Every Minute merino lounge robe to the individual charity runner/walker who raises the most money for us. For Every Minute  has generously logodonated this stunning garment, valued at $389.00. Made from the softest New Zealand merino wool, known for its warmth and texture, this robe will become a much cherished item as winter approaches.

Thomas’s Department Store in Blenheim are getting fully into the spirit and will give a fantastic Kate Sylvester dress valued up to $500 for the person that donates the most money to their team of 6 Beat Bowel Cancer Aotearoa runners.  Their family has a very personal brush with bowel cancer and they are enthusiastic about supporting this cause. Read about their motivation to join us this year here.  Then jump on Thomas’s Department Store Fundraise Online site here, make a donation and and be in to win.kate-syl
